Peanut Butter Dough Recipe

So I had an ingenious idea today.

I've been needing ways to incorporate more healthy foods and calories into my diet, and so far, I've figured out that I should eat a good portion of my calories from fruits and vegetables. Next in line comes legumes.

I have it planned down to eating about 500 calories in fruits and veggies. Another 500 in smoothies. Another 500 in home cooked meals. So where would I get another 500 calories from?

Well lately I've been needing some type of food to take to work. I'm really picky about what I eat there. We do have a microwave, but sometimes certain foods just don't appeal to me. I know, I'm weird.

But I had a brilliant idea while sitting at work. What if I could take peanut butter and mix it with some type of flour? Wouldn't that make a dough, per say?

Well, I tried it, and it's brilliant!

If you mix your favorite peanut butter, and whatever preferable flour you choose. I personally chose oat flour because I'm trying to stee…

Acne & Rosacea: Make-up Tips

For someone who has long dealt with rosacea, I thought I should give my own tips for those of you who are struggling to find balance with such red skin.

My very first tip to give you is to ditch your commercial make-up. No, seriously, do it. First of all, you have no clue what's in that stuff. So many toxins that are aggravating your rosacea even worse. If you don't believe me, I am directing you to my post on scary ingredient in face wash. You need a kick start in opening your eyes to the world: http://kaistclaire.blogspot.com/2013/07/scary-ingredients-in-face-wash-acne.html

If you can handle it, I highly highly suggest to go without make-up for quite a while. This may be easy for some of you if you're in high school and have summer coming soon. But if you have a job, it might not be an option for you. But don't worry, you don't have to ditch make-up altogether to heal your rosacea.

Now that you understand how important it is for you to ditch your crappy make-up, it&…

Happiness: A How To Post

So you've found this blog. There's only one reason you found it: You're unhappy. Or maybe you're trying to cure your rosacea, but that's beside the point.

It sucks to be stuck in that inbetween space. The space where you feel like nobody gives two craps about you and you also don't give two craps as well. You count all the unlucky shit that happens to you. You expect the worst and receive the worst.

I know. I've been there.

So how do you get out of this space?

Maybe you're unhappy because you haven't reached your dreams, hate your job, feel unloved. You basically feel so paralyzed that you don't know what to do.

Well there's only one thing you can do. Stop comparing. Yes, I mean it. I know you do this. I did this way too often. I compared my unlucky streak to the brats around me who got everything in return for giving nothing. Why can't I be that lucky?

To be honest, I bet those people who are so-called lucky aren't so happy either. They j…

Failing: An Inspirational Quote

Lately, I've been dealing with a lot of stress and difficulty in being motivated, and for anyone else that's in the same boat, I decided to look up a quote to motivate you.

Things have been getting better lately, so I promise, that light will come for you. It just takes time for the light to hit good people. I'll never know why. Maybe it's because we give that light to other people. Who knows.

So here's a quote for you:

Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure. -George E. Woodbury

This is why I will keep striving to become a published author. I do not want to give up on my dreams like all the other kids did at my school. Instead of attempting for their dreams, they accepted the failure and went to college. I refuse to give up. College can only take you so far, but your dreams can take you anywhere. Just as long as you try.

Debunking Rosacea: Food Allergies

I've been researching rosacea for a long time now. About 5 years. I've been successful in not healing per say, but I have reduced the redness that occurs on my cheeks, forehead, and chin. There's a lot of factors to consider on what could cause your rosacea.

My biggest cause would be skin care products in the past. So I'm asking you, do you still use commercial face products? As in, do you buy your products at the store? Or even worse...the evil Proactiv. Which I am totally against for many reasons. I mean seriously, if you own that stuff, I dare you to figure out all the ingredients in it. Do you even realize what you're putting on your face? Things like oil, the very oil you put in your car? Why the hell would you put that on your face?

So why are you using it? Might as well dump gasoline on your face the next time you visit the gas station, am I right?

So your not using any commercial face products, none whatsoever. So what could be causing your rosacea to get wors…

Celiacs: More Common Than Thought.

Hello, my lovely readers. I know I've been gone for a while, but I have some news to share with you. I've finally come across what's wrong with me. I'm a celiac.

Never heard of it?

Celiacs is a condition where your body sees gluten as threat, so in return, your body attacks it.

Yeah, it's not fun.

Last week, I went gluten free for five days and noticed tremendous differences.

My major concern disappeared: My constipation.

I literally tried everything from fiber to more water, but going gluten-free moved my flow in about two days.

I also noticed that gluten causes mucus to form in my throat, my stomach to swell, and my left leg to ache.

I'm also guessing that it causes my weight problems because it's inflamming my stomach and not allowing me to absorb nutrients.

So  could you be celiac?

Here's some things to ask yourself:

Are you full after barely eating much food? And I mean, full and bloated for literally hours? I once ate food and was bloated for three hours. …
